40 Questions Beauty Tag

Hey everyone! So this will be unusual post for me, because I rarely do beauty posts on here. Nonetheless, I've been tagged by beautiful Vilte (check out her amazing blog), so here are my answers:

SKINCARE

-How many times do you wash your face daily?
It depends on the day, but I try to do it 2 times a day.

-What skin type do you have? (dry, oily, combo)
Dry. And it drives me crazy!

-What is your current facial wash?

Picture from http://beautyinmywords.blogspot.com

-Do you exfoliate?
I use gentle scrub 3-4 times a week.

-What brand do you use?
I use a lot of different brands. My favorites are Avene, Bioderma and Himalaya.

-What moisturizer do you use?
I'm in love with this moisturizer! I just bought my 5th box. It is very moisturizing and brings my dry skin back to normal for a day.

-Do you have freckles?
Little bit.

-Do you use eye cream?
Unfortunately, I do. But not for the under eyes, for lids. My eyelids get extremely dry, so I use Avene eye cream.

-Do you or did you have acne prone skin?
No, but I have pimples quite often.

-Did you ever have to use Pro-activ?
No

MAKE-UP

-What foundation do you use?
I don't use foundation. I usually use BB creams from Maybeline or Garnier, but while it's summer, most of the time I just go with some concealer and powder.

-How about concealer?
Maybeline "Fit me" concealer, 110

-Do you know your undertone color?
I think it's yellow.

-What do you think of fake eyelashes?
Tried before, but is really hard to put them on. Still, I think they look amazing!

-Did you know that you are suppose to change your mascara every 3 months?
Yes, but I'm a saving person, so I try to use up everything.

-What brand of mascara do you use?
Right now, I use DiorShow Maximizer and  Maybelline "Rocket". I already got a new Benefit "They're real" mascara and I can't wait to try it out!

-Sephora or MAC?
Neither, haven't been to any of those. I heard MAC is going to open in Lithuania and I'm really excited about that.

-Do you have a MAC Pro-card?
No.

-What makeup tools do you use in make up application?
Bronzer brush, powder brush, fingers, and eyeshadow brushes from ecotools.

-Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?
Only base.

-For the face?
No.

-What is your favorite eyeshadow?
I'm not really an eyeshadow person, but I have this neutral Isadora palette that I use the most. (Isadora Eye Shadow Palette 50 Matte Chocolates)

-Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?
Gel!Sometimes liquid, if I'm going out. Pencil liners always smudge on me.

-How often do you poke your eyes with an eyeliner pencil?
I don't, because I don't use one :D

-What do you think of pigment eyeshadows?
Never really tried any, so I don't know.

-Do you use mineral makeup?
Haven't tried.

-What is your favorite lipstick?
Well, it's not a lipstick, it's a lip lacquer. Rimmel London Apocalips (Show off in US) lip lacquer in Aurora.

-How about lipgloss?
I have some, but I don't like using them.

-What is your favorite blush to use?
I don't use blush, I have extremely rosy cheeks already.

-Do you buy your makeup on ebay?
No.

-Do you like drugstore makeup?
I love it!

Do you got to CCO'S (Cosmetic Company Outlets)
uuumm, I had to google what that is. I guess no?

-Did you ever consider taking make-up classes?
I would love to! But as I heard, they are so freakin' expensive.

-Are you clumsy in putting on makeup?
I'm awful at blending eyeshadows.

-Name a makeup crime that you hate?
Getting my make up off. Almost every time I do that, I'm tired after a long day :D

-Do you like colorful shades of makeup or neutral ones?
Neutral ones, I don't think I can pull colorful of.

-Which celebrity always has great make up?
A huge inspiration in my life is Demi Lovato. I love her music, style and of course make up looks! She is not afraid of rocking bright lip and dark shadows. Even though she looks amazing without any make up on, the neutral look looks wonderful on her too.

Also, I am a bit ashamed to say it out loud, but I've been watching Keeping up with the Kardashians and I believe they have make up artists to their DAILY make up, but still. Kim's always rocking dark smokey eyes and fake lashes, but they look outstanding on her. Also, that contour and highlighting! wow!

-If you could leave the house using just one make up item, what would you use?
Mascara!

-Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?
Yes!

-Do you think you look good even without any makeup on?
Most of the time I feel "washed out", and I like being "bright". But sometimes, if I don't feel like putting my make up on, I usually have my mood as "*uck off, I don't care". :D

-In your opinion, what is the best makeup line?
I can't really decide. I believe Benefit are quite a good brand. I love Maybelline, L'oreal, Rimmel.

-What do you think of Makeup?
I think it is a great way to express yourself, your style or even mood.

New INN: beauty edition

Went on a little shopping spree! It was a "discount day". Kinda like Black Friday in America, but it was on Saturday. :D Got some new things to try out and repurchased the ones I already have tried.

A few months ago, when I bought the Maybeline BB cream, I fell in love with it instantly. Since I don't like using full coverage foundation daily, but still wanted a bit of coverage it was perfect for me. Later on, I found out about Garnier BB cream, and since I'm almost out of my Maybeline one I thought, I should try Garnier the next! I heard about The Body Shop and Loccitane having one. I guess I'll give them a try later on. I haven't tried this new purchase of mine, but I can't wait!

Since I'm so in love with BB creams, and sometimes it makes my face a little bit shiny (well, the maybeline one does), I wanted to try putting on powder. And because I heard a lot of good reviews about it, I wanted to see the goodness of it myself.

I also bought a simple powder brush with natural bristles. Very plain, compact, good for traveling.

About two months ago, I was at my regular drugstore, and I was looking for a simple face scrub, that won't dry out my face like a Garnier one I have tried before. And a shop assistant recommended me this one. I absolutely loved it. I got apricot scrub, and it was really good, refreshing,  not drying-out. This time, trying the same, but just with walnuts.

The 3rd bottle of this L'Oreal gentle eye make-up remover of mine. I just love it! Does the work and is cheap! :)

You can't really see a good view of the nail polish, but it's the "Suzuki says Da!" by OPI. Just another autumn-ish nail color to add to my OPI collection.

So these are all of my purchases of beauty world this time :) I'm also really happy about my new ahh-mazing microlab sound-system. The bass sounds are blowing-away and music sounds so much higher-quality now! <3

Favorite youtube beuty/fashion gurus

Hey everyone! So today, I was thinking what should I write about. And I had youtube opened on my computer. So since I spend way too much hours on youtube, I thought of sharing my favorite youtubers with my blog readers. These are in no particular order I love everyone exactly the same! :)

Jenns fashion tips are the most amazing ones! Even though I love her style, I can't find any of this style clothes anywhere and I'm also, not such an internet-buyer. But Jenn is an absolute fashion inspiration!

Icallitambrosia, also known as 87daysbefore on tumblr, is absolutely gorgeous! Even though I'm a subscriber of her since 'Christmas video' I love her to death, not because of her rants ( don't get me wrong, they are hilarious), but because of her attitude. I mean, she does what she wants and does exactly it the way she wants it done.

I recently found out, the she is getting married very soon! I am subscribed of her for about 6 months I think, but I always thought that she's about 16-17 years old! (And that's a good thing!) Her hair tutorials made me known in my class for making amazing hairstyles and I have to be thankful to her! PS. Congratulations to her! :)

Honestly, when I first came across her videos I thought of how much hate she probably gets! This girl, admires me for her confidence! She looks a lot different from other youtube gurus and that's is so fascinating. She has her own style, always has her opinion and sticks to it! Also, she's not on youtube because of money or other stuff. I think she's here because of youtube friends and her lovely subscribers which loves her so much!

One day I was looking for British youtube gurus just because I wanted to increase my knowledge of  British by watching what I love. I unsubscribed for most of the gurus just because I couldn't understand what they were saying. But this girl is amazing! I love her blog, her videos and she has her own beauty shop, http://www.thebeautycloset.co.uk/, and I love every single thing on it!

Thrift hauls!!! I think she is the only one that really enjoys doing thrift hauls! And I always get so excited about them! I mean, not every youtube guru goes thrifting, because a lot of people think that is too low to buy second-hand clothes, since you can go to f21 or h&m every day!

Gracie! My losing weight inspiration! She has an amazing style, crazy tattoos, which I love and huge confidence level that I'm jealous of !  She has been through a lot and she keeps me going! If she does it and I can do it too!

I got braces 3 months ago, and I found Alex through her braces video! I love her fashion videos, which are always great, since she keeps you updated about every trend!

Rachel, oh, Rachel! I love her to death! She is so funny and all the hauls she cracked me up! All the beauty videos that I repeated a lot! She's just amazing!

Talking about Fleur, I don't realy know what to say. I just remember every day watching her Vlogmas, VlogAngeles, daily Vlogs and I can't wait for June vlogs as well! I watch her videos repeatedly, which is absolutely not like me! I remember her vlog, when she wanted to get a hat from Topshop I believe, but she thought that was too expensive, and the look on her face was priceless. And later, a couple of vlogs later Mike bought that hat for her! I mean, isn't it cute already? And her videos were the first ones, that I got excited for very much! Her tutorials are very informative and her reviews are always trust-worthy!

So yeah, this is my opinion! I hope you liked reading this post, and if you have any youtube gurus that I definitely should look up, comment and let me know!
